As the owner of LAR Productions LLC, I believe that quality and work ethics are of prime importance. I pride myself in bringing passion and creativity to my work, always with the goal of exceeding expectations.
I began my career editing and producing segments for local TV news stations. I was a cameraman for the New York Yankees on WPIX TV. I also served as a video editor for ABC-TV in New York. I eventually went out on my own managing and producing full-length documentaries, entertainment programming and television commercials. Some of my clients included Sports Channel of New York, Long Island Trust and Shofar Kosher Foods.
I have been a producer, director, videographer and editor in the New York, Miami, and Washington, DC media markets, winning awards for work on diverse subjects that included firefighters, sports related promos, underwater productions, and a variety of entertainment and biography-related shows.
I was recruited to work for AmericanLife TV Network where I developed, created and produced several projects. These projects included Embassy Chefs, featuring the cuisines and cultures of various country embassies in Washington DC, A Journey to Darfur, covering George Clooney’s work for the people of Darfur, and Poverty In America, a documentary with Martin Luther King, III. These projects have earned several Silver Telly and Axiem awards.
In addition, I completed an independent documentary, Syria: A Fire Within, a behind the scenes look of an activist and his struggle to find peace for Syria. I have also produced commercial and corporate videos for various clients such as,Capitol Hill Bikes, The Japan-American Society of Washington DC, and the Downtown Dunedin Merchants Association.
